Well I guess I can come right out and say it, if not already evident — I love blogging. That being said, I love writing of any kind: journaling, poetry- and story-writing. It’s something I’ve been doing since I was very young.
Seriously though, before you can even really start a blog you’ve got to ask yourself this question: WHAT DO I HAVE TO SAY??
A question my professors and mentors have always probed me with (in regard to my writing) is “Why should people care?” The answer to that has been one of the most invaluable things I’ve ever learned, above all.
Anyone can go out and create a blog — but it’s differnet than just venting or spewing out your daily dramas (which I have to admit I’ve done both of). Yes, those are apart of blogging but overall there needs to be a purpose.
So what’s my purpose, you ask? Well, I think I’m still trying to figure that out. For the most part, I do have something to say. Regardless of the fact that I don’t like arguing with people, nor do I enjoy political debates, I have convictions and stand by them. I’m slowly realizing I am a strong person, and I have come to understand that by the power of my words I can help and inspire people (I’ve been told this in not-so-many words). Ok, off my tiny soap box now
Alright so appropriately “HELLO WORLD!” Tune back into my blog for more of my reflections on life.

I’m glad you are writing a blog. I love reading them and yes you are one of the strongest women I know. Love you and all the best in your blogging future. I do have one question to pose…what does blog mean or stand for?
A blog is basically another name for an online journal or diary.
Websters Dictionary defines it as : a Web site that contains an online personal journal with reflections, comments, and often hyperlinks provided by the writer
You can put whatever you want in it and no one can tell you different. But it’s public!
anyone can read it…although you can determine how easily available it is (in terms of searching for it on Google or something).
